A little bit about Acacia Flowers

Acacia flowers have been based in Valley since 2006 and are proud to have a fully qualified team of florists led by owner Carol Roberts. H.D.F, I.C.S.F Carol has always had a keen interest in floristry and in 2005 made the decision to follow her passion by studying at the Welsh College of Horticulture in Northop, and within her first year achieved level 3 advanced national certificate in floristry.

Having graduated with distinction in 2006 went on to open Acacia flowers in Valley. After the first 12 months of opening Carol then went back to college to further her skills and became the first florist in North Wales to achieve the new level 4 higher diploma and intermediate certificate from the Society of Floristry. 7 years on and Carol maintains her passion for flowers and continues to develop her skills and leads the way with her innovative designs.

Achievements

2006 - Awarded gold for regional florist with less than 2yrs experience at the UK skills challenge regional final.

2006 - Awarded bronze for florist with less than 2yrs experience at the UK skills challenge national final

2011 - Awarded BEST REGIONAL WEDDING FLORIST at the Welsh national wedding awards.

2012 - Awarded BEST REGIONAL WEDDING FLORIST at the Welsh national wedding awards.

2014 - Awarded BEST REGIONAL WEDDING FLORIST
